The Making of a Feminist

Fact: Only about 20% of American women identify themselves as "feminists".

My anthro professor says that feminists are those who think women are people. So that makes me one, I suppose, according to her definition. I've always associated the word to be synonymous with "bra burning" and granola chicks with long armpit hairs - and that just aint cute for me. The funny thing is that I dont know of any woman who will say that her husband does half of the housework, so whats up with the growing trend of men saying they are Feminists? Hello? So whatever knowledge to come my way will come to a newly opened mind. What do you think? Do you have to love Hillary and hate McCain? Or rock Alanis loudly in your Prius? Whatever.
