i never thought i would be overcome with gratitude for a toilet

there was quite the plumbing disaster monday night at the western abode.

the poetry that is colby's facebook status:

"Roto rooter came to the house and pulled out a root octopus!

Drains are clean, root monster is dead. I stabbed it with a screwdriver"

he also insisted on keeping the said monster that emerged from the main, accessed via the plumbing under the toilet. it currently resides on my back step.

long and gross story short and made un-gross, i am grateful that its 2010 and that we have running water, both incoming and outgoing. especially outgoing.
