NOOK!

when colby gets in trouble for not doing the dishes or replacing the empty roll of tp when he says he will, he usually tries to pull from his line of credit. you know, the im-married-to-you-and-i-do-nice-things-for-you-all-the-time line of credit. for example, he put a surprise bag of pb m&ms in my purse, and that night when i was about to get grumpy for laundry not put away, he quickly said "but i snuck a bag of candy into your purse for you to take to work!"

how the h am i supposed to still be mad? the boy has figured out how to work the system. and now i have to award him a significant amount of credit in the bank because he got me a present - i have a Nook! its an Ebook and i love it. super cute. currently am reading Deception Point and Sh** My Dad Says simultaneously. amazing, right? consider my mind blown - i think the last really cool techno gadget i laid my hands on was an Ipod, and that was like 2 years after the fact.

so watch my back, friends. colby will no doubt be attempting to schedule LAN parties, motorcycle rides, WOW adventures, and other various activities with the counterpoint of "remember when i got you a Nook??"

and i will have no choice but to allow the monstrosities to occur.
