never too many bubbles

i have taken a page from a friend and now have a bubble bath every night before bed. i will be the first to admit that i probably look like an idiot crammed into our tiny tub, maybe 14 inches deep and definitely not long enough, with bubbles all the way to my chin, legs hanging out or resting against the wall, and a book in my hands. i have figured it out just how to manage the whole book-in-the-bath thing. my secret? i turn off the faucet with my feet.

my favorite unexpected little nugget of discovery with this new ritual is just how often rosie will come check on me. and when shes not laying on the bath mat on the floor, shes waiting for me in the hallway. or sniffing the bubbles and looking extra cute when a few foams stay on her beard.
